Dialed is made in Saint Petersburg, Florida, and Florida's independent smoke shops, kava bars and convenience retailers were our launch channel. If you're in the state and searching for kratom tablets near you, this is the guide: what the law says, what a compliant product looks like on the shelf, and where Dialed is stocked.
Is kratom legal in Florida?
Yes, statewide, for adults 21 and older, with one exception. Florida passed its Kratom Consumer Protection Act in 2023, which regulates rather than bans kratom. The exception is Sarasota County, which prohibits kratom under a county ordinance that predates the state law. Federal rules also apply: since August 5, 2026, 7-hydroxymitragynine above 0.050% dry weight or 1.00 mg per unit is Schedule I, so compliant Florida products must stay under that threshold. Dialed does on every lot; the results are at /coas.
Not legal advice; laws change. The state statute and your county's ordinances are the primary sources.
What the Florida Kratom Consumer Protection Act requires
The 2023 law sets rules for anyone selling kratom in Florida. In summary:
| Requirement | What it means in practice |
|---|---|
| Minimum age 21 | Retailers may not sell kratom products to anyone under 21. Expect to show ID. |
| Labeling | Products must be labeled with directions for use, including a recommended serving size, and must not be adulterated or misbranded. |
| No adulteration | Products can't be mixed with substances that alter their effect in a way that makes them unsafe, and can't contain synthetic alkaloids. |
| Enforcement | Violations are punishable by fines, escalating for repeat offenses. |
The practical effect for shoppers is that a Florida kratom product should look like a regulated consumer good: a real label with serving directions, an ingredient list, an age mark and a responsible company named. If a product on a Florida shelf has none of that, it's out of compliance and probably not something you want. Tempo's packaging was designed around this statute from the start.
Spotting a compliant kratom tablet in a smoke shop
Since the 7-OH rule, Florida shops have been reorganizing their kratom shelves. Some things to check with the package in your hand:
- No "7-OH" on the label. If it advertises 7-OH content, it's non-compliant above threshold and the shop shouldn't be selling it. Our plain-English explainer: Is 7-OH Banned?
- Mitragynine in milligrams per tablet. Tempo: 20 mg mitragynine of a 250 mg kratom alkaloid blend per tablet, 1000 mg per 4ct pack.
- A QR code to a lot-specific COA from an accredited lab, showing 7-OH under 1.00 mg per unit. How to read it: our COA guide.
- Serving directions that start with a small serving (Florida requires directions; good ones say "start with half").
- Full ingredient list, including any second botanical. Tempo lists 30 mg 13-OH Corydalis yanhusuo extract and every excipient.
- 21+ mark and FDA disclaimer.
The longer version of this checklist is nine things to check before you buy.
Where Dialed is stocked
Dialed launched through independent Florida retail, starting in Tampa Bay and expanding across the state. Store types you'll find it in:
- Smoke shops and vape shops, the largest channel
- Kava bars, especially in St. Petersburg, Tampa, Orlando and South Florida
- Select convenience stores with a regulated-products counter
The store locator is the current list, searchable by city or ZIP. Because we add retailers every week, the locator is more accurate than any list we could put in an article. If your local shop doesn't carry Dialed yet, tell them; the wholesale page makes opening an account fast and we ship opening orders within days from St. Petersburg.
By region
| Region | Notes |
|---|---|
| Tampa Bay (St. Petersburg, Tampa, Clearwater, Largo) | Home base; densest retail coverage |
| Orlando and Central Florida | Growing smoke shop and kava bar presence |
| South Florida (Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach) | Expanding through distributors |
| Jacksonville and Northeast Florida | Select retailers; check the locator |
| Gulf Coast south of Tampa (Bradenton, Fort Myers, Naples) | Available except in Sarasota County, where kratom is banned locally |
| Panhandle (Pensacola, Tallahassee) | Select retailers |
Why Florida first
Three reasons Dialed launched here before anywhere else. The first is proximity: the tablets are pressed and packed in Saint Petersburg, so a retailer in Tampa can get an opening order the next day and we can be in the shop in person when there's a question. The second is the regulatory environment. Florida's Kratom Consumer Protection Act gave us a clear standard to build the label and the testing program against, and a state with rules is a better place to sell a compliant product than a state with none, because the rules push the non-compliant products off the shelf. The third is the market. Florida has one of the densest networks of independent smoke shops and kava bars in the country, and they were the retailers hit hardest when 7-OH tablets came off the shelf on August 5, 2026. They needed a compliant tablet with real documentation, and that was the product we had.
What Florida retail has taught us in the first weeks: customers ask for the COA more than they used to, they ask whether a tablet "has 7-OH in it" and want a straight answer (Tempo does not contain added 7-OH; trace natural 7-OH is verified under threshold on every lot), and the cross-score gets more attention at the counter than we expected, because it lets a shop recommend "start with half" with a straight face.

For Florida retailers
If you run a shop, three things make stocking Dialed straightforward under the Florida law and the federal 7-OH rule: every lot ships with a COA showing 7-OH under threshold, packaging already carries the required directions, ingredients and 21+ mark, and we provide counter displays and a one-page staff guide. Wholesale pricing is $3.49 per sachet and $12.49 per blister; distributor pricing is available on request. Details and the application form are on the wholesale page, or email wholesale@feeldialed.com.
